Jawapan saya, sebab saya sayangkan Malaysia.

Saya sayang Malaysia saya.

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Wa Lillah Ilhamd.

Apart from struggling to put together a much needed effort to continuously update my blog, apparently I also have a tendency to buy first, justifications later policy when it comes to buying books or reading materials.

So,out of pure single-mindedness and guilt-free entry, these are the books that I'm currently sinking my teeth into, quite literally at times! Her goes nothing :-

1) Football-Bloody Hell : The Biography of Alex Ferguson by Patrick Barclay. Done reading it, am currently re-reading a few chapters on Sir Alex's Aberdeen days. Oh, I think I don't like Patrick Barclay, don't ask... it's about his tweets on David De Gea :-)

2) The Football Men by Simon Kuper. Done reading it, but can't put the book down for too long...filled with priceless snippets and valuable insights on the footballing men we know, adore and love so much.

3) The Blizzard : Issue One edited by Jonathan Wilson. Done reading it, hope to emulate the sheer brilliance of it all. I heart football journalism !!!

4) RED : My Autobiography by Gary Neville. Done reading it, will read again if possible but honestly I expected more from Gary.

5) Soccer Against The Enemy by Simon Kuper. Currently reading it, have to skip a few chapters as I browse through simply because can't wait for the part where the names of the teams and players are more familiar... got it for RM8.00 at the Big Bad Wolf book fair recently.

6) Batman : Year One by Frank Miller, David Mazzucchelli and Richmond Lewis. Okay, okay so this is not strictly a 'book' per se but hey I did mentioned 'reading materials' earlier on right! Done reading at first attempt, "...a shadow fell across me, from above. Wings flapped, close by and almost silent. "

7) Soccernomics by Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski. Haven't started, don't know when I'll actually start but as per policy, buy first, explain to the wife later ;-)

December is but a few days away and already I'm thinking about a few more titles that have caught my attention. Now where did I put my trusted 'tabung buluh'...

Thanks and ciao !scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-85610293502417200862011-08-19T00:08:00.014+08:002011-11-25T23:26:55.357+08:00Paul Scholes, he scores goals...(2)AsSalamu'alaikum wrh. wbt. and hola everyone!

Every now and then, I suppose someone or something would just put a big, fat, teethy and gleeful smile on your face...I know I am, plus positively sure that I put on the biggest grin of the day when I got to know that Inside United published a 'double cover' issue to commemorate Scholesy's retirement! *shrieks*

The cover shows Scholesy in all his glory -in painting- and in full flight while smashing in THAT goal against FC Barcelona at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg match. There's another shot of this famous goal that took United to the final in Moscow 2008 that I really really liked, if you've seen it, it's the one where Lionel Messi was in the background of the picture looking intently at Scholesy's technique and execution! If I remember it correctly, the ball wasn't even a pass from a United teammate, a loose ball that was moving all over the place and Scholesy just hammered it past a hapless Victor Valdes, but hey don't take my word for it, head on to youtube.com and have a closer look peeps...

Here's a look into the content of this special section which I may add here looks a bit 'hastily done' by the mag's editorial team, but my guess is as good as anyone's, that this special section is only some sort of a prequel before a full-blown-all-exclusive-tell-all-no-holds-barred special edition mag of Paul Scholes! *pengsan*

This here are a few pages dedicated to Scholesy's brilliance in the United shirt, 10 of his best games picked and chosen before being relived in err... blushing pink!!! *say what!!?pfft*

Oh ya, I got to know another fun fact about Scholesy...he used to wear the evergreen, much loved, classic and legend-wait for it-ary Adidas football boot, World Cup! No, seriously, that's the name of the boot guys, it's called World Cup for real, of course not to be confused with its not-so-evil twin, the Copa Mundial which is equipped with a full 12 studs instead of the 6 on the other. I can understand the popularity and of course quality of the Adidas World Cup boot at the time was enormous, but dear Scholesy, why you wanna change to those pesky Pony football boots after that? Aiya, you ah...sometimes you really like to make my blood go upstairs lah, and don't make me start on your tackling! *shhhh...*

to top it all off, a Scholesy book will come out !!! I don't actually know when but rest assured, for all the 'Ginger Ninja' fans out there you can pre-order from store.manutd.com or at any other major online book retailers...yippee! just to get your freak on, it is "the first and only book by one of the greatest players of all time" heh, eat your heart out Theo Walcott!

ahhh...I missed him already *tsk, tsk, tsk* did any of you guys see him at The Hawthorns? the United bench looks quite peculiar without him, what more the United team on the pitch but I've said this before and I'll say this again, Scholesy, you're a GENIUS !

Wassalam guys and ciao !

scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-54039037418224317112011-08-12T22:06:00.007+08:002011-11-25T23:35:05.243+08:00La Masia and De ToekomstAsSalamu'alaikum wrh. wbt. and a splendid evening readers,

Most of us, football fans don't really know or bother to care about La Masia de Can Planes do we...? How about De Toekomst...? Now, comparing these two places or shall I say 'institutions' is missing the whole point altogether but what's interesting is that Johann Cryuff had a hand in setting up and envisioning these two famed hallowed venues.

Admittedly, Cryuff was always one of those footballing icon that I considered too 'old school' for me to remember or even liked but one little thing that I knew of him -Cryuff's turn - proved to be more than sufficient to make him one of the truly greats that ever graced a football field.

Halfway through my reading of The Football Men by Simon Kuper (I just had to postpone reading it because of we moved out of the apartment), I was completely hooked on Cryuff's chapter (more about Kuper's book in other entries,insya-Allah ;-)) and there I was reading page after page and can only come out with one conclusion, Cryuff is a one off.

Everybody knows he's a genius, that he's a joy to watch while he was playing whether in real life or through the small screens of YouTube videos but what impressed me most about Cryuff is that he certainly has an opinion or two or three on everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Although he's quite infamous in a way that people always seem to get the quirkiest of quotes out of him but that's exactly why I said he's a one off, meaning there'll be no other footballer quite like him.

Coming back to La Masia and De Toekomst earlier on, it was Cryuff who persuaded the then FC Barcelona president, Josep Nunez to adopt the youth-centered approach because Cryuff himself was one of De Tomkoest's earliest success stories. Note the determination and persuasive nature of Cryuff in looking forward to youth's potential and nurturing them to play in a certain way from an early age.You guys can go and read a whole lot more about La Masia here and here because apparently, La Masia will be getting a new home as it says goodbye to the old one.

Though not as famous as FC Barcelona's youth set up in terms of location or facilities, AFC Ajax Amsterdam's youth academy prestige is second to none and a quick look at its list of alumnus proves to be the case. If FC Barcelona can claim Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta as their 'products', just don't forget Edgar Davids, Wesley Sneijder or Rafael Van De Vaart were also once the marquee players of AFC Ajax Amsterdam.

I remember reading about the England's FA youth set up, the Lilleshall School of Excellence once but got to know that it has been turned into a National Sports Center or something...if my memory serves me well, Michael Owen and Wesley Brown were there as apprentices at one time.

Food for thought, I've been reading around Rizal Hashim's blog and loved the nuggety behind-the-scenes stories that he shared about Malaysia's current football heroes. My take is that when you're on a first name basis with the players, plus your significant other is an insider of that closely knitted inner-circle, you ought to share a fair bit hahaha! Sekolah Sukan Bukit Jalil might not be anything close to La Masia or De Toekomst at the moment, not in our wildest dreams but as Cryuff has once proven, soon enough it might just be our turn!

*picture of Johann Cryuff nicked from FC Barcelona's official website.

Good night and ciao !scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-74522488053507899272011-08-04T22:31:00.009+08:002011-11-25T23:30:04.375+08:00Paul Scholes, he scores goals...AsSalaamu'alaikum wrh. wbt. dan hola rakan-rakan !

Xavi : In the last 15 or 20 years the best central midfielder that I've seen - the most complete - is Scholes (Ini Xavi Hernandez daripada FC Barcelona tu yang cakap, kalau dia pun boleh panggil Scholesy 'complete' siapa lagi yang boleh pertikai)
Zinedine Zidane : My toughest opponent? Now these are exactly the things that we should do ! Concentrate and pay particular attention (no matter how difficult that will prove to be).

I will be the first one to admit that I don't have the ability of any sort to persuade or convince my dear readers (mythical creatures as far as my blog is concerned...) to agree with me with whatever I'm saying in my entries. I'll concede as well -through gritted teeth- that I'm as powerless as the next chap or chapette who wants his or her views to be heard by those who walk along the corridors of seemingly limitless power.

Nevertheless, I believe that I've at least made an effort...to take a stand, to hold on to something, and in these dire moments, only Allah s.w.t, the Most Merciful and the Most Gracious will help me.

So guys and gals, let's focus on these... if you just can spare a few minutes of your precious time and read up on these issues and more importantly, please get back to me through the commentaries section. In all fairness, Sabah fans have been made to suffer for almost 5 years languishing in the lower echeleons of Malaysian football and to have been told by a former player they regard as a living legend that this team can go far, they would definitely take that without a moment of hesitation.
The dwindling numbers of spectators coming to Stadium Likas was indicative of the immediate downfall of a team that they know can achieve something worthy to tell the grand children again, they know that the squad still has its pride intact what with the majority of them are Sabah-born players, they obviously know all that but the question seems to be not what they know but when is this dream will be achieved.

A keen observer of the team that he played for with unprecedented verve and scoring ability that was feared during the mid to late 90s, Scott was pointing out the positives that he saw in the Liga Premier match between Sabah and Felda United in March, 2009 before boldly proclaiming that Sabah was "on the right track" to become a success story in "less than 1 year".
Wathiq Najim - then the head coach, and his assistants Burhan and Mohd Asyraff were credited with slowly but surely turning things around with improved fitness levels of the players and a tighter, more disciplined defensive backline. Scott's belief was proof enough that Sabah was a work in progress that needs that one last piece of the puzzle to complete the whole picture.

Well, fast forward a year later, Scott's prediction wasn't too far off the mark - by 4 months as a matter of fact -when Sabah finally confirmed their promotion to the Malaysian Super League in July 2010 after beating off a spirited POS Malaysia side at the MPS Stadium in Selayang with a remarkable solo strike from hotshot Mohd Farid Ideris and of course, a little help from another former Sabah player, Ong Kim Swee who managed to rally his charges, the Harimau Muda team to a victory over much fancied Selangor PKNS side.
The former Sabah midfielder even conceded his delight when told in a post match interview that he had done Sabah a very big favour. "The good times are near" indeed, but what Scott and the fans didn't know at that time was that it needed another Australian to "make the difference between winning and losing".

Gary Michael Phillips

I don't want to sound overly excited but please bear with me if my objectivity abandons me somewhere in this entry. I have never heard of Gary Michael Phillips when he was announced as the new Technical Director of Football cum Head Coach of the Sabah senior team back in December 2009, in all honesty I only got to know that Sabah FA has appointed a new coach when the Liga Premier started proper when Sabah laboured to 0-0 draw against Felda United at Stadium Likas.
It was abundantly clear that Gary has effectively instilled a sense of consistency into the team's performances and it was starting to translate on the league table. Grinding out 12 undefeated matches to prop up just behind the Liga Premier leader. This Sabah team has 'something' that I can't put my finger on quite rightly but as far as football cliches goes, I came to the conclusion that this time around the Sabah players 'wore their heart on their sleeves', that 'something' I can't be sure of watching them in previous seasons.

I did some reading and ended up with an overwhelming desire to embrace a sense of clear optimism for Sabah. I found out that Gary signed on the dotted line on the 14th of December 2009 in a brief ceremony at the Sabah FA headquarters, and straight away shared his excitement in getting started as well as bringing out the best in the 25 players that he inherited. His immediate goals and objectives are clear as he said " I hope to find the best from all the players and maximise their potential, it would very good to achieve that".
This marks another Aussie affair for Sabah FA because Gary can count his compatriots, Ronald Smith, Ken Worden and David Woodfield as his predecessors in the hot seat. The famous Sabah tiger prawns made Ken Worden fell in love with the 'Land Below The Wind', well at least gastronomically, but I'm sure Sabah pristine beaches, perfectly ruffled waves and heavenly islands will be perfect for Gary, who loves surfing.

What impressed me most is without a shadow of a doubt, his CV. He played almost 400 games for Brisbane Strikers and Sydney Olympic before calling time on his playing days and embarking on a journey as a coach that would see him get hold of his coaching credentials as an AFC A license holder. Gary's knowledge on Asian football is something that he acquires after spells at V-League side, Da Nang and also his impeccable work as manager of Project Future with the AFC which gave him the opportunity to help and nurture young emerging coaches across 47 countries in Asia.
He has tasted championship success before with his former team Sydney Olympics and the chance to work with players on a daily basis again represented itself when Scott Ollerenshaw reccomended him for the vacant post as Sabah head coach. Personally, I think Gary is the right man for the job and definitely wish him all the success that he could ever hoped for, if he's in this for the long run, it will only serve the current and ultimately the future of football in Sabah a great deal of hope and positive developments. As Stuart Pearce puts it : "with better coaches, you get better players".

As for the time being, would Sabah go on to enjoy the on-field success that the fans have been craving for ? How would Sabah fare against the other Super League teams next season ? Admittedly the jury is still out on him but on hindsight, patience is indeed a virtue, a moral trait that requires time to be of crucial essence and right now only time will tell when, - not if - Gary Phillips is going to be our best chance to help us get there.scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-44665134493998532852010-09-22T16:25:00.011+08:002010-09-25T02:44:15.931+08:00Sabah Hawks? Sabah Rhinos?

Sabah, Sabah tatap !!!scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-14323671654955958522010-09-09T10:35:00.007+08:002010-09-09T10:47:58.805+08:00Salam Aidilfitri, Salam Lebaran, Salam Kemaafan...

Suara tangis yang kau dengar
Memecah hari kudus ini
Adalah aku
Mengenang pemilikmu

Kita pohon kemenangan
Meroboh kota keakuan
Ini saatnya
Yang kunanti-nanti

Mereka yang dilanda derita
Redhalah harimu kan tiba
Cahaya kekasih yang benar
Menghapus segala api kemarahan

Salam dunia
Salam semua
Salam Hari Raya
Bersinar akhirnya
Salam dunia
Salam semua
Salam Hari Raya
Bersinar akhirnya

Inilah hari kita
Tiada lagi rasa ketakutan

Inilah hari kita

scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-81293750164617967382010-04-23T18:39:00.002+08:002010-04-23T19:17:35.215+08:00Go figure...During my 'unforced sabbatical' I said/liked/got to know/hoped/loved/hated/was made aware of/did/realised/discovered/understood/agreed/disagreed/laughed/cried/...

"United will beat Bayern Munich, even without Wayne " well, you know what happened...

Leonardo Di Caprio's Shutter Island...intense and twisted thriller.

a distant relative, an uncle I'm hoping to know better...

that I can really start doing something that I really really love...and get paid for it !

my new United t-shirts..all thanks to the ever generous mrs. wifey, yeay !

the obnoxious, nauseating attitude and utter arrogance of those so called 'penjawat awam'...'penjahat awam' is more like it.

a new makan place... somewhere in Bangi, just off Precint 16.

went back to KK, KB and TG (Kota Kinabalu, Kota Belud and Taun Gusi for the uninitiated...my dearest hometowns)

that all is not so good at the work place.

jottings and lazy scribbling from an 'ancient' notebook were actually a list of things I haven't accomplish yet...procrastinators anonymous here I come

that Iyang's (that's what I call my grandmama..) love knows no boundaries.

with mrs. wifey that both of us are getting 'cuter' (read : fatter) by the day !

with mrs. wifey that both of us need to start a rigorous diet...

at myself

on the 31st of March 2010..

scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-7555172591845376762010-02-10T16:38:00.004+08:002010-02-10T19:06:24.761+08:00resistance is not futile ! (part 2)AsSalaam wrh. wbt. friends and foes,

Let's begin with an all too familiar question for the past couple of postings, how exactly do you silence the voice of the majority ? There are countless ways apparently here in Malaysia, you simply have to choose to your heart's content.

This seems to be the weapon of choice for those who walks along the corridor of 'super natural' powers. How else can you explain the absolutely blatant disregard of laws and utter arrogance of the powers that be ?

I might not be able to explain the finer, intricate legal details of what actually transpired when the five-men panel of judges of the Federal Court gave a damning verdict of 5 - 0 against Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin, but I can do one thing.

I refuse to be a mere by-stander in this hideous event, the real issue here is the manner at which the Federal Constitution and the Perak's State Constitution have been torn to pieces. I'm all for respecting the court's decision and let me be absolutely clear, this isn't about not being able to accept the judgment, the implications of the court's decision far outweighs all that.

It implicates that the majority's voice has been cruelly silenced ! It confirms the detrimental state of constitutionalism and the spirit of democracy here in Malaysia. It makes all for the worst considering the fact that the Federal Court can now be used to systemically 'annihilate' whatever that is left of our democracy.

The Malaysian judiciary might as well mark Feb 9th as the day it succumbed to lawlessness !

I was so inspired by this image that I just had to share it with my readers, and yes, I'm guilty of nicking this picture from Titi Serong's assemblyman, YB Idham Lim's blog (sorry YB...hehe). Just so you know, this picture was taken AFTER the verdict has gone against him okay ! Do you see any strand of sadness ? Any look of spiteful hatred ? Any little face expression that might suggest hopelessness or disappointment ? Not one tiny bit !

He's here for the long run, he's here and he will be there when the Perakians given the chance again to cast your votes, insya-ALlah...
He represented the voice of the majority when he was elected in 2008, and you can be damn sure he will be the representative of resistance against the tyrannies of our time !

Wassalaam.scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-54874066315418537732010-02-09T23:40:00.004+08:002010-02-10T01:26:59.374+08:00resistance is not futile !

AsSalaam wrh. wbt. boys and girls...

How do you silence the voice of the majority ? The majority that refuse to bow down to intimidation of any sorts. The majority that feels cheated, shortchanged and denied their basic rights.

The answer to the question is pretty much everything the Glazers are doing to the match-going fans at Old Trafford nowadays. One thing's for sure though, since that last entry of mine in September '09 (gasp!), I went through one of the most crucial and defining period in my entire life...

To tell you guys the truth, I don't even know where to start ! Anyways, I honestly think that it is only fit and proper that I reserve those moments in other postings in the future, insya-ALlah... but for here and now though, I'm just inexplicably happy that I'm slowly but surely getting back into the 'passion' and 'romance' of blogging.

Let's set the record straight, I blog about matters or things that I love, namely Manchester United, football, maybe a few books (if I'm reading any at all...) my life in general and a tiny weeny bit on Malaysian politics... okay, and here's the thing though, I've never claimed nor have I ever mentioned anywhere in my posts that I'm an expert/Nobel Prize winner/Time magazine personality of the year/big shot/Mr. Smarty Pants/guru/sage/Mr.Know-It-All on the entries that I wrote about, they're just MY personal opinions... whether you agree or not to what I think is entirely your prerogative. I'm all for cohesive discussions, sensible and responsible comments so that we can have what might resemble a decent discussion pertaining the subject matter.

Until next time, see ya guys around !!! Yeay !

Apa ? Kawan -kawan kata dia tak sehebat Encik Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aviero ?

Old Trafford.scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975925690424205733.post-10054044361341258632009-06-26T11:43:00.007+08:002009-06-27T02:02:08.693+08:00It's V for Victory !AsSalam wrh. wbt. and morning to all,

It's here peeps and it looks 'victorious' ! I LOIKE !

Some are saying that it looks a little bit too much like the Mexican's home jersey during the last World Cup in Germany also provided by the same manufacturer, Nike.

Well, to be totally honest it does look like one but for a few diffrences here and there such as the round neck collar or the detailing at the end of both sleeves.

Rooney is honored to be wearing it while Ji says that he hopes the V-shape is a sign of victory ! Best news of all, Malaysian fans will be the first in the world to watch them play in this newly designed gear LIVE at Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil on July 18th !

manutd.com started the ball rolling with a series of teasers which includes Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Park Ji - Sung showing tremendous form in modelling the new kit. Deliberate shadowy effects covered most part of the shirt but still you can see a fair bit of the club logo, the Nike swoosh logo and the shirt sponsor, AIG.

Although we can't be quite sure just as yet how will the new shirt looks like, the ads actually left a tad too little to the imagination. The Nike designers who dug deep and swamp themselves with United jerseys of past might have took a lot of inspirations from the days of Newton Heath in the early 1900s, what with the significant and highly visible 'V' shape just off the chest area.

Man United's jerseys along the years

Nike has said that the new home kit which will be worn by the players during their pre-season tour of Asia next month, will in effect celebrate the 100 years of Old Trafford, hence, the distinctive and almost retro design of the shirt. The Manchester United team that moved to Old Trafford after years of playing at Bank Street, won the league championship in 1909, a second triumph for the Red Devils. So, here's hoping to a record breaking 19th league championship medals for the squad next season.

Rio is absolutely right when he says that "This club has always taken pride in its history - it acts as an inspiration to all of us and it's great to see it represented in the new kit".

I just think that this shirt looks imposing - well you can say that to the majority of United's previous kits anyways - but it does gives the players an advantage of sort.

Berbalik kepada hobi sampingan, menunggu tajuk berita yang saya idam-idamkan akan terpampang didada akhbar seperti " Karim Benzema signs for United ", atau " Ribery is now a Devil ", atau " United smashes world record transfer fee for David Villa " memang meleset sama sekali.

Apapun, terima kasih Tevez.

Anak jati Fuerte Apeche, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It has finally come to this, Cristiano Ronaldo's love affair with his so-called 'home' that is Manchester United Football Club has finally come to an unceremonious end.

Unceremonious if you consider that as of now, Cristiano's last game for Man United was the confidence-sapping defeat to FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League. Even more unceremonious is the manner he lead every United fans to believe that he has finally accepted that United is where he belongs. That's exactly why football will never be short of cynics and naysayers, for all the beauty of the game, loyalty is becoming more and more of a rarity.

I'll give him every credit that he deserves for the way he has helped United to achieve more glories in the last 2 or 3 seasons that he has been at Old Trafford, culminating the moment he won the Ballon d' Or and FIFA World Player of The Year last year. I'm sure Cristiano is man enough to admit that he won't achieve those accolades without the help of his teammates. When and not if the deal is finally concluded coming to the end of this month, I sincerely hope that Cristiano will show some genuine effort in acknowledging his legion of fans that has supported him through thick and thin over the years. A gesture of gratefulness towards the United fans will not cost him anything other than a difficult but endearing send off to La Liga.

Make no mistake about it, United will definitely miss a player like Cristiano, his pace, power, and all round threat as an attacking player is second to none, even though he has his own army of critics but his record at United speaks for themselves. 292 games and 118 goals to his name is without a doubt a very very impressive stats for a player who is a natural out-and-out winger.

The general feeling that I can sense from fans' who made their feelings known through countless postings on the triple W in major sports websites is one of rationalization. United fans in particular were 'generous' and 'forgiving' enough to let him go, thinking that it made good business sense and the small matter of Cristiano's request. Some viewed him as becoming more and more detrimental to the team judging by his petulant actions in the closing stages of the season and thought that Sir Alex is again giving priority to the team more than anything else.

I for one, think that this is the right decision on both Cristiano and the club's sides. It might not be the best decision but definitely the right decision. Though time will surely tell whether Sir Alex will regret selling him to a 'mob organisation' like Real Madrid, Cristiano has given his all to Man United and therefore should be remembered for the contributions that he has made rather than the unnecessary petty sideshows. The same can be said of his place in Manchester United's folklore, it isn't yet exactly cast in stone but for some reason or another, I believe there is a place for him, where...? Again, only time will tell.

Thanks Cristiano for all the beautiful memories when you graced the mighty Red of Manchester United. For us fans, we will always keep the Red flag flying high...

Glory, glory Man United...scottismhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03524804441924700895noreply@blogger.com0
